Why Join BALCONY?

Join BALCONY and you can make a difference in the public policy debate in New York State. For too long, small and medium-size businesses have not had a legitimate voice in Albany. By partnering with labor through BALCONY, these businesses can now be heard. As a BALCONY member, you will be in the forefront of positive change for New York.

BALCONY offers a variety of different levels at which you may participate, depending on your budget and level of commitment.

Who Can Join?

Membership in BALCONY is available to any incorporated businesses, trade associations, labor unions, community organizations, home owners groups, partnerships, individuals, consultants, or limited liability corporations operating in the State of New York.

    *BALCONY reserves the right to accept or reject any application. To maintain an appropriate balance between business and labor, the executive committee members have the discretion to invite others to sit on either the executive committee or the board of directors.

  • To maintain an appropriate balance between business and labor, the Executive Committee members may invite members of the other categories to sit on the Executive Committee or the Board of Directors. It is our goal to have equal representation in these categories. Dues are renewable on a yearly basis. Contributions to BALCONY are not tax deductible.
